Non Solo Copie

Non Solo Copie is a Paduan online print shop specialising in the university market: thesis printing, graduation scrolls, file printing, business cards and personalised products. With a solid customer base, the platform had become the primary sales channel, but accumulated technical debt was limiting both growth and operational stability.

The legacy codebase presented Vue 2 at end-of-life, synchronous queues with timeout risk, no abandoned cart tracking and compromised product categorisation. Continuing to build on top of it had become more expensive than starting fresh.

We carried out a complete platform refactor: migration to Laravel with PostgreSQL, frontend rewrite on Vue 3, adoption of an event-driven architecture with 44 events governing the entire order flow. We integrated Stripe and Braintree as payment gateways, Fatture in Cloud v2 for automatic invoicing, Email Chef for transactional communications and abandoned cart recovery, and Redis for asynchronous queue management. The migration was completed with zero downtime.

The platform now handles over 15,000 customers and more than 10,000 orders, with +44% growth between 2024 and 2025. The three main products, Thesis, File Print and Graduation Scroll, account for 84% of revenue.
